the people i work with

So work so far has been really great. I was worried I wouldnt fit in and wouldnt have friends. well that is totally oposite of what happened. haha. I have met a group of people (all manager/supervisors) who are pretty awesome. I am excited about work now. haha. It has been nice. being the one who is the boss... getting to be the one who answers all the questions. so far so good. the only thing i am not excited about is Sourcing. where i have to go steal stylists from salons with a clientelle already. kinda weird. I would think if someone has a clientelle somehwere and isnt looking to relocated that they are doing fine. haha. so its kinda weird but... oh well.

About a few people i work with...

My store manager is super nice. His names Dave. Always supportive and never gets annoyed if i call with a question. He has told me many times he has lots of faith in me which is nice to hear. 

My ASM is Joe and he is really nice too. sometimes he doesnt have the answer tho, but i figure stuff out on my own all the time anyway. 

Now for the Three Amigos:

Monica is the LP "senior manager" as she says it. She is pretty awesome. the first time i met her i knew she would be nice to talk to and such. turns out... she is! haha. Shes nice, funny, totally layed back, but very firm on being LP manager, dont think you can push her around. Shes in my office everyday haha. we ist and talk talk talk, then get to work then shes back and we talk talk talk haha. I did her hair finally, It turned out great, i liked it. I was worried she would hate it. cause i added more color then she had, and fixed the red color she had also. So that went well. We go out to lunch from time to time. its great to have someone like that to work with.

Araceli is the Training Supervisor and extra. haha. she is always getting called to some department for something. She is the one who had the really bad hair experience in the salon. but I talked her into getting her hair cut. turned out way cute. of course! haha. She is funny and sweet. She is engaged. Shes a really great person to talk to. She has all the answers. basically. haha.

Carlos (who i like to call Mario) is the Jewlery supervisor. He is very funny. he laughs really hard at stuff he thinks funny. it cracks me up. I share an office with him. but he is rarely in there. unless he gets to work early and sits on the computer at his desk and plays for a while. haha. 

Thats the Three Amigos. They are attatched at the hips. okay... not really. but they have welcomed me into their little group at work. haha. Its great tho. I havent had a group of friends I get to hang out with in a long time. at the last job i had one... Barbara. and I didnt even get to work with her much. Now I have 3 people who are funny, awesome, funny. haha. And we are all managers so we can talk about anything and not worry about it "getting out" so thats nice to have people to talk to without restrictions. We all go to lunch together. I need to start bringing my own lunch and stop eating out tho. soon... I will. but it is nice to have a group to hang at work with. enjoy my time there with. someone i can turn to if i need someone for anything really. 

So to sum it all up. Work has been pretty great. so far. I have enjoyed it. I met people I really love to be with. I get to work in less than 10 min. I get an hour lunch everyday. I generally work a 9-6 except monday i work 11-8. thats my life. comming home early to my husband and cuddling. :] awesome life.
